When I sit and look around me, I see a beautiful country. A country filled with riches and prosperity. Nigeria is a land of wealth. She entails of things that are perfect to make a developed country. But it is so unfortunate that things don't always turn out to be the way we want. We all have goals and dreams but we need to work hard to achieve them. We wish for a better Nigeria, but are we better Nigerians? think about it. We judge our politicians and see the evils they do. Why don't we look in ward and take care of the skeleton in our own cupboards? The good book says, Take care of the log in your eyes before you can remove the speck in your neighbours eye. To have the Nigeria we dream of, Nigerians should work together as one and build this country. let's make development for ourselves. CHAPTER ONE Kwararafa, West Africa. 1725 Kwararafa, a contented village filled with joyful and peaceful people. Happiness was the only thing to speak of in this little town. They were centred at the Benue river valley which indeed brings out the best of fishermen in this village. The major clan in this village was the Wukari clan. Festivals were well celebrated in this place. The King indeed took care of his people. The Pategis’ was a well-known family in this clan. Zulu Pategi was one of the best fishermen in the town and was occasionally summoned by the King. He caught the best of fishes and the biggest ones. He was well respected.      Chapter 1 Mia "Mother, I'm back" I said as I dropped the vegetables I harvested from the farm into a burlap sack. "Mia, you are overworking yourself. Don't struggle for me anymore, just get married and live your life" my mother said again. "Mother, you know that it is entirely impossible for me to leave your side and besides, the right man will come when it is time" I smiled in reassurance. Indeed, I was not ready for marriage.
